Script Installation and Platform Compatibility

Tracking Features
- It tracks the impressions of the page, AdSense ad units, and AdSense search boxes.
- It tracks the clicks to the AdSense ad units on the page.
- It tracks the clicks to the AdSense ad links on the page.
- It tracks the searches done via the AdSense Search Boxes.
- asRep supports and tracks up to 3 (three) ad units, 1 (one) ad link unit,
and 2 (two) search boxes per page with a single tracking code on the page.
- Specialized click detection algorithms for MSIE, Gecko DOM (Firefox, Mozilla & Netscape) and other browsers.
- It now employs two click detection algorithms: Unverified and Verified clicks. An unverified click
represents the selection of the ad unit (for right mouse button clicks) and a verified click
means that the browser opened a new document after the unverified click.
- It detects if an ad unit is displaying AdSense ads (including Public Service Ads, PSA) or an alternate (default) ad of yours.
- It detects if a search box search is done on the Web or on the Site.
- With each impression, click or search record,
asRep captures and stores the following info as well:

- The following stats are reported for the selected items and time intervals:
- Page views (number of times the page having the tracking code is displayed)
- Ad unit views (number of ad units on the page the tracking code is on)
- Search box views (number of search boxes on the page the tracking code is on)
- Number of clicks to ad units and/or ad links
- CTR (Click Through Ratio) of the ad units and/or ad links
- ACD (Average Click Duration. The average time it takes from viewing of the page to a click of an AdSense ad)
- Number of searches done on the AdSense search boxes
- SR (Search Ratio): The ration of the number of searches to the number of impressions.
- ASD (Average Search Duration): The average time it takes from viewing of the page to a search on a search box.
- For Count reports, the followings are also available
- Percentage of the stat compared to the global total
- Percentage of the stat compared to the matching total (the total of the selected rows)
- Percentage of the stat compared to the subtotal of the sorting column
- Moving average of the stat over 3, 5, 10, 20, 40 or 80 rows (only for sequential time reports like daily totals)
- Average of the stats per time slot (only for periodic intervals like "hours of Day", "Days of Week"..)
- You can choose the resulting report be in one of three display formats (for Count reports only):
- Figures Only: displays the resulting count figures as a regular table.
- Multi Column Bar Graphs: displays the resulting count figures as horizontal bars in its own column.
- Single Column Bar Graphs: displays the resulting count figures as horizontal bars in a single column.
- Option to report for the unique visitors for each table rows.
- Option to filter the displayed results with various criteria.
- Downloading of the reports in CSV (Comma Separated Values) format.
- Saving of any generated report as a meta-report.
- One touch regeneration of the saved meta-reports.
- Option to report the cummulative stats for the entry point referrers.
- Option to mark one of the meta-report as the start-up report.
- Reports via e-mail. You can save unlimited number of e-mail meta-reports. By setting the cron-jobs at
the intervals you choose, you can receive the updated reports by e-mail at any interval you like.
- Assigning names to Google AdSense channels.
- Deleting of individually selected records.
- Deleting of the records matching to a given criteria.
Summary Report
Summary reports show the performance of the selected items for the day, the week, the month, the year and all time.
Top Reports
Top report shows the best performers of the selected items in terms of views, clicks, CTR, Searches, and search ratios
for the day, the week, the month, the year and all time.
Log Reports
Log report shows the details of every individual impression, click and search.
The details include the date-time of the impression, IP and country of the visitor, browser type for click detection algorithm,
the number of ad units on the page, the number of search boxes on the page, the page URL, the referring page URL, clicked ad unit number,
click or search duration, channels of the ad units, the visual AdSense variables of the ad units,
the search terms, and the channels of the search boxes.
Count Reports
Count reports tabulate the selected stats of the selected items for the selected date-time interval.

A fix is released for latest AdSense behavior change that affected click tracking with MSIE5 and MSIE6 browsers.
AdSense no longer displays a status bar message that displays the landing page when you click to or mouse over an ad.
After this change, clicked-ad-url stats will no longer be available.
